The flooding caused widespread devastation across the affected border region, with drone footage showing the scale of destruction left behind by the disaster.

The confirmed death toll has risen to nearly 400, while the number of missing people remains above 1,300, making the disaster one of the most severe flooding incidents reported in the region.

Authorities continued to assess the impact of the flooding as emergency teams responded to the destruction.

The large number of people still unaccounted for means the confirmed death toll could change as search and rescue operations continue and authorities establish the whereabouts of those missing.

Drone footage from the affected areas captured extensive damage caused by the flash floods, providing a view of the devastation across the region.

The disaster struck the Nepal-Tibet border region on Wednesday, with authorities reporting significant loss of life and a large number of people missing by Thursday morning.

The flooding has left communities across the affected area dealing with extensive destruction as emergency responders work to determine the full human and physical toll.

With nearly 400 deaths already confirmed and more than 1,300 people still missing, the scale of the disaster remains significant.
