President Donald Trump is set to close the United States\u2019 250th anniversary celebrations with the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, an IndyCar race through the streets of Washington, DC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event represents a major departure from traditional motor racing venues, with drivers competing on a temporary circuit surrounded by some of America\u2019s most recognisable landmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 250-mile course will run through parts of central Washington, including Pennsylvania Avenue and areas near the National Mall and National Archives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump will take part in a ceremonial lap before waving the green flag at the beginning of the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
