The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced that certificates for candidates who sat its examinations up to 2024 are ready for collection.
The announcement provides an opportunity for candidates who have completed their examinations but are yet to obtain their original certificates to collect the documents.
NABTEB Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, announced the release in a notice made available in Benin City, Edo State, on Friday, October 30.
The certificates cover the May/June National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations, as well as the November/December NBC and NTC examinations.
They also include certificates for the Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.
Mohammed explained that candidates who sat for the May/June examinations should collect their certificates from the schools where they registered and wrote the examinations.
Candidates who participated in the November/December examinations are required to collect their certificates from NABTEB offices in the states where they registered and sat for the examinations.
The registrar outlined the requirements for collection, including a valid means of identification such as a National Identification Number (NIN) slip or card, or a driver’s licence.
Candidates seeking to collect November/December certificates must also present their statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing their examination details.
Other requirements include one passport-sized photograph with a red background and payment of an approved collection fee of ₦1,000, excluding applicable statutory online charges.
Mohammed stressed that certificate collection is restricted to bona fide candidates, warning that the board would issue certificates only to individuals who genuinely sat for the examinations.
