The FBI has launched a search for Nigerian national Emuobosan Emmanuella Hall after she disappeared at Atlanta’s international airport before reporting to prison to begin an eight-year sentence for fraud.

The American law enforcement agency is offering $5,000 for information that could lead to Hall’s arrest, urging anyone who knows her whereabouts to contact the FBI.

She was convicted in the United States over her involvement in a fraud scheme that targeted American victims. A federal court sentenced her to eight years in prison in January 2026.

Hall was last traced to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on March 24, when she was expected to travel to Minnesota to begin serving her sentence.

She did not arrive at the designated correctional facility, prompting authorities to search for her.

The FBI has since listed Hall as a fugitive and is seeking information from members of the public that could help investigators locate her.

Hall’s case is linked to a fraud and money-laundering conspiracy involving victims who were allegedly deceived through online romance scams and other fraudulent schemes.

Court records cited in reports on the case indicate that Hall admitted responsibility for more than $850,000 in losses suffered by victims.

Her co-defendant, Kenneth Akpieyi, was separately sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in the wider conspiracy.

The FBI has urged anyone with credible information about Hall’s location to contact the agency. The $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to her arrest.

Authorities have not publicly established how Hall disappeared before beginning her prison term.
