The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested five suspects and destroyed 7,500 kilogrammes of cannabis, popularly known as skunk, cultivated on three hectares of land in a forest

The NDLEA has warned Nigerians against accepting consolidated cargoes from abroad without knowing their contents, saying illicit drugs are being concealed in some shipments.

NDLEA says it intercepted a tanker allegedly notorious for evading arrest and discovered 2,145kg of cannabis hidden inside a false compartment.
