Defence Minister Christopher Musa has called for every Nigerian to undergo military training, saying exposure to hunger, exhaustion and other military hardships would help citizens understand the demands placed on soldiers.

Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, has called for wider use of artificial intelligence and advanced surveillance systems to strengthen military operations against insurgents, terrorists and bandits.
