Champions League Winner Luis Enrique Extends PSG Stay to 2030

Luis Enrique has extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2030, continuing his tenure as manager of the French champions.

PSG confirmed the agreement on Friday, September 4, following a highly successful period under the Spanish coach.

Enrique took charge of PSG in 2023 after previously managing Barcelona and the Spanish national team.

Since his appointment, he has guided the club to three Ligue 1 titles and two consecutive Champions League championships.

The European success has marked a significant stage in PSG’s history and established Enrique as an important figure in the club’s sporting structure.

His previous contract was due to expire next summer, but the new agreement keeps him at PSG until 2030.

The extension follows his achievements during the 2024-25 season, when PSG won six trophies and reached the final of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup.

The club also announced a series of player contract extensions alongside Enrique’s new deal.

João Neves, Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu and Willian Pacho have signed contracts that run until 2031.

Fabián Ruiz has extended his contract until 2028, with an option for an additional year.

The moves strengthen PSG’s long-term planning by retaining several members of the squad that have contributed to the club’s recent success.

Neves joined from Benfica in 2024 and has since made 100 appearances for PSG.

Pacho arrived from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2024, while Beraldo joined the Paris club from São Paulo.

Mayulu is a product of PSG’s academy and entered the club’s youth system at the age of 12.

Ruiz joined PSG from Napoli in 2022 and has made 171 appearances, scoring 16 goals and providing 28 assists.

With Enrique’s contract now running until 2030, PSG have demonstrated their commitment to maintaining continuity in the coaching position.

The French club will look to build on its recent domestic and European achievements with Enrique continuing to lead the team.
