Ogun Correctional Officers Intercept Suspected ‘Colos’ Concealed in Milo Sachet

Security officers at the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State, have intercepted a substance suspected to be an illicit psychoactive drug during a routine screening exercise.

The Nigerian Correctional Service said a woman was arrested at about 1:33pm on Friday after officers discovered the substance during screening at the facility’s main entrance.

According to Odukoya Olayinka, the NCoS public relations officer in Ogun, the woman was visiting an inmate on death row when the suspected substance was detected.

The substance was described as “colos” and was allegedly concealed inside a sachet of Milo beverage.
